Marlborough College Open Minds combines a unique educational programme with a full timetable of unusual and engaging activities designed to help students challenge themselves creatively and intellectually, allowing them to grow in confidence and explore their capabilities in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Our Open Minds course centres on creativity and adventure and encourages students to investigate and interrogate the world around them, participating in a vibrant forum for debate and discussion that prioritizes empathy and understanding.
The course is project-based and will see students explore a series of thought-provoking topics organised around an annual theme, using drama and performance, film-making and other creative exercises to complement their learning. One week of each course will be dedicated to the creation of a collaborative project, which provides students with the opportunity to respond to the learning that has taken place and to pursue their specific areas of interest within the broader themes of each module.
Our team has seen the value of creative education first-hand and, as such, this approach is fundamental in all areas of the course, from our morning tuition to our carefully selected programme of afternoon and evening activities, excursions and special guest performances.
